We strive to understand each investigator’s goals then extract, assess and deliver statistics in a user-friendly dataset to help them answer unique research questions.
Why Consultation?
Every value-added interaction with the IDR research team begins with establishing a common understanding of the data available and a team’s research objective – be it to establish study feasibility, recruit patients, generate a hypothesis, or test a hypothesis.
The data contained in the IDR are real-world, meaning they were collected to support clinical care delivery or health system operations. The data were NOT collected for research. Through the consultation process, research team members and IDR research team members partner to bridge the gap between real-world data and ideal research data.
Begin the process – Connect with an IDR research team member by emailing IRBDataRequest@ahc.ufl.edu or completing the IDR Request Form. IDR services are provided free of charge for up to two hours of consultation or data analyst work. For studies that require support beyond two hours, the IDR team charges a $130 hourly rate. IDR team members can discuss potential funding options for projects without grant funding or other financial support.
